I am hoping that you all can help me come up with a pattern for my next project. My mom lives in a very small town here in Upstate New York between 2 of the Finger Lakes. She goes to a little Baptist church in town that is in dire straits and is trying to keep their doors open. I want to help by creating a quilt for a fund raiser. They have no idea that I am doing this and I am looking to find the perfect pattern. I was thinking maybe a modified Trip Around the World with a cross design in the middle. Anyone have any other ideas or thoughts?

I think that "Trip around the world" is an execellent choice. It's one of my favorites. Shouldn't take to long to finish either. Good luck and Bless you for doing such a sweet thing. :thumbup:
