I'm planning a small quilt retreat at a resort in French Lick Indiana for the week of March 19th. This retreat is for 6 or 7 people plus myself and I have 3 interested already, so I can take 4 more. The retreat would run from Saturday, March 19, 2011 until Friday, March 25th, 6 days! The cost would be $250 and would include room, meals and classes. The classes would be taught by me and would be determined by the wishes of everyone who registers. The unit at the resort has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a living room kitchen, and loft area. The living room and dining room are big enough for everyone to set up machines to sew. The master bath has a whirlpool tub and sauna. There is a fireplace in the unit, as well as a washer/dryer. The resort has an indoor pool and is located next to a casino. There is an amish community about 30 miles from the resort with a couple of nice quilt shops and we would definitely take time to visit them! All meals would be provided in the unit except for one dinner out at a restaurant at your own expense (because most people like to do this at least once!) There is also a winery nearby. I have stayed at this resort before for a quilting trip and enjoyed the resort and the area very much, so I thought I'd plan a quilt retreat there! Please PM if you are interested or for more information. Thank you!
Pam

I still say "French Lick" is a really dumb name for a town...
but it is beautiful down there - I say 'down there' because we lived in NE Indiana for over 30 years... guess I should say, "up there" now...
I can't go, but boy is that price very reasonable for 6 days!!
