Make 3 of your favorite blocks in her favorite colors, place on 'point', place triangles on the sides, bind and wrap.

I found a freebie on fat quarters that i will do and since my hands shake so much i will buy pre cut fabric. Thanks for all the help. Pray that it comes out decent...this is for my only duaghter who is a expert hand quilter. I don't want to be embarassed.,,,but it is a labor of love and appreciates all i do for her...even if the placemats came out too small...they are always on her table,
thanks agian, fmd36 in NH

I am making table runners right now to go on top of my dressers... I'm alternating solid print blocks with a block in a block if that makes any sense.... they are all 4" blocks. So far, I'm really happy with it.

I have a list of table runner tutorials on my personal site... I've been collecting links for them. Whenever I see more, I add them... Maybe you'll see something there that catches your eye? I'm planning on making a tutorial for the one I'm working on as I get closer to being done.... not that it helps you now lol

I know what you mean... I spent hours assembling the list - and having a ball doing it... I try to do a new topic every week or so and scour the web, searching for tutorials and free patterns....
There are a few on that list that are on my to do list.. although I'm not quite sure why I put one of them on my list lol. I must have had something in mind for it and now have forgotten why... I do like finding tutorials!

I certainly appreciate the work that you have done on this. It is so fun to look. I get discouraged looking for things and just give up. Now I know right where to go to look :)

If ever you need someone to find stuff, you just let me know :) I'll do it right away. In the early mornings, before the kids wake up, it gives me something to do... after checking email, etc.
