Recently on this site I viewed a neat tutorial of bias binding being cut from any size piece of material. The lady showed how to mark and cut it after she folded the material in half and sewed all the sides together. Cannot find it again. Anyone know where I can find it?

Is this what you're talking about? http://sewtropolis.blogspot.com/2011...s-binding.html
This is the way I always cut on the bias. In the tutorial, she uses a fat quarter. When I do mine, I make sure to fold the fabric, selvage to selvage, line it up as best as I can, and cut off the selvages. That's the only step she didn't include.

I know which one you're talking about. It's about halfway down on this blog page, http://www.bitterpurl.com/
