I bought this great collection of 30's reprints last year and I haven't used them yet. What pattern should I use? I have no idea, that's why I still have the fabric. I would love your opinion........ yes you, all of you.....LOL

I have been collecting 30's fabrics too! I am going to do an apple core lap quilt with them. I got the apple core die for my Go for Christmas and I have cut a few out. I just haven't decided if I will tackle those curves or I am going to do a raw edge applique with 'em!

I would love to do a Farmers Wife quilt in 30's fabric or a Fan quilt.

I love Sunbonnet Sue and collect 30's for them, Another would be Grandmothers flower garden blocks. I found you can use any block for the 30's and they look great, Have fun dreaming of all the quilts you can make.

I think vintage fabric deserves a vintage design, something that will more showcase the fabric. Either a pinwheel or perhaps a dresden plate with lots of white/cream/muslin.

I agree with you, I think it shoud be a vintage design. I guess I want to know which blocks are more from that time.

Both of these are on "My list" I thought about doing a fan but I'm not practiced enough in my turn edge applique yet.

My mom has a gorgeous GFG that my grandmother made in the 30's. I love it and one day it will be mine.

Here are some pics of quilts with 30s fabrics (or similar) that I've saved for future use. (Some are probably from members here....thank you for sharing!) Because they are just photos, I don't have patterns and would have just drawn them in my graph pad.
