I just finished my first lonestar quilt and now it is time to quilt it. I have a mid arm machine but am a true beginner and I really want the quilt to look good. Don't have time to send it off. Any suggestions on how to quilt it nicely by a beginner?

The lonestar quilt I have was quilted by my grandma by hand. It was stitched a little bit away from the seam lines. If I were to do one on a machine I think I would do something like that. Especially for me as I am pretty much a beginner also. Others with more experience might be more helpful. Love lonestar quilts. Hope you will post a picture.

Congratulations on finishing it! I found the easiest way was Stitch in the Ditch following the diagonal seams,
(there are photos posted in the photo section). I used a regular Bernina sewing machine. Good luck.
