Question Pj Designs Snowman embroidery - anyone make this??

I am totally smitten with this Crazy Legs Snowman. It just makes me smile

I'm planning on ordering it but I am curious to know if anyone has made this before... how do you hang it? I guess that's my biggest question. It doesn't say much about how it's hung but it looks pretty stiff and up against that door so it must hang somehow...

Ohhhhh that is soooo cute! I don't know anything about hanging these Crazy Legs Snowmen but I have bookmarked this site for later reference. Apparently their sale prices are good until Dec. 31. hmmmmmm. Thanks for posting.

Love the designs, but my embroidery hoop is not large enough. Only have a 5x7

I know they used sticks for the arms.. but the shoes look like they are made out of plastic. I have emailed their customer service. I hope to find out about the shoes soon so that I can place my order. I already have the tree design and am planning to finally make that this year...

The legs are sewn together but joined to the snowman body while you are stitching out the snowman.

Bummer about the hoop size. This is one of those times that I am so happy that I have that big hoop. I don't use it often but it's times like these that I'm glad I have it.

I still have not heard from their customer service about the shoes :'( I'm really bummed. I sent them a second email yesterday afternoon. Maybe I'll hear back from them today. I'll let you all know what they say.

I really do wish that designers would put in their descriptions things that you might need that are out of the norm. sigh. Fortunately today is not the last day of the sale... it goes through the end of the year. That's one long sale but I'm grateful that is is that long.. on the flipside.. I am pretty sure that I want to go ahead and make these for teachers so even if she used some sort of weird plastic thing I know I'll be able to design up some boots or something instead. It will be fun

I didn't see a phone number for PJ's in the Hoop Designs. The only contact info I found was an email form.
I did just get an email back finally. The shoes are part of the design. They used shiny fabric to make them. I'm good to go now and will go ahead and get the design. Hopefully I'll be able to start working on them the week after we move. I'll be running out of time for teacher gifts if I wait too long!
