I don’t know what the brand of this dissolvable I am using is because it came preprinted in a kit from www.adornit.com, is there something in particular you were needing to know?

According to https://www.pellonprojects.com/produ...itch-dissolve/ it can be used for " Hand Work," which should be for hand embroidery.

Yes, I am doing hand embroidery, it is a different feel of course, but easy to get used to. It was easy to wash out as well.

just looked at the pellon link posted, mine has a sticky side which you press on to your fabric project, but I still basted around it to keep it in place while embroidering. One thing to be careful of is not to get it wet while stitching as it will dissolve. I dip the thread in water to help thread my needle so after one mishap I quickly learned to dry my hands well.
