Default d9p

I'm getting ready to start a d9p.

Any suggestions on pressing? Towards the dark? Open?

I think I actually pressed mine open. I often do that when there will be a lot of seams. Have fun, it's a great pattern.

I usually press to the dark but with D9P you first make the 9patch and then cut them apart to re-arrange them. If you don't want your seams going in all different directions (turned to re-assemble) you might want to press them open so they are consistent.

Love doing this pattern. Next time I'll try pressing them open. Might work better.
