I need some good ideas for a baby boy quilt. I will have another grandbaby in Oct. Thanks ahead of time.

I used EQ-5 and made a paper-pieced train with applique circus animals. There were many p-pieced trees too.

Just any pattern, but very bright colors - that's what I did for our grandson. When he got older I made q uilt with the very hungry caterpillar. Now he is 6 and I'll make a quilt with trucks.

brights, trucks, balls, trains etc, and solids. Maybe think about what activities the parents like since they really are the ones that will be looking at it.

Monkeys are really big right now. Baby quilts are actually hard for me since my boy is 18, but I've decided recently to do up some to ship off other places and have actually bought the main fabric first that I liked and then decided on what pattern to use and went back and got what I wanted to coordinate with it.
