Default need a little help. please be honest

this is the planned quilt for my second cousin's brand new baby boy.

the yellow of the fabric is a little brighter than the pictures.

i'm planning for the backing to be blue to match the bob the builder squares

what do you think?

please be honest in your opinions.
thanks in advance

Very cute. What do you think is wrong with it? We're all a little too self critical when it comes to our work. The baby will love it.

I like it. It would certainly be working outside of the box for me with that orange but I'm sure the modern mom and baby will find it quite attractive. It's a great conversation quilt as the baby grows with all those construction workers .... it would be fun hearing the stories that go with it.

It is really cool. The sashing strips look like girders in a building being constructed. Works for me!

I think you are doing great and your color choices are fine. Lucky baby! Remember to put a small label on the back and that will make it more precious as the years go by.

It's a very cute quilt. I love the Bob the Builder fabric with the orange. Don't second guess yourself so much.

I think it looks great. I recently made a quilt with a touch of yellow in it that looked white in the photos. Cute Quilt!!

It looks really good! Orange and blue go together very well, you know. I like it a lot and so will the baby. Like Debra said, we are all too self critical.
