I really like your "Blue Stripper"! I'd also like to suggest a Disappearing Nine or Four Patch as easy blocks and they look really good if you vary the color values. I've done one in greens and another in blues and browns and the turned out very nice.

I like appliqué too...so tell me what ya think.
After all this organizing and I am not done...my brain is muddled.
as usual.
Thanks,

It's not quick, but a bargello heart in shades of blue would be beautiful!

The Holiday Update 2010 Keepsake Quilting catalog has 2 patterns using blue fabrics. Both are really pretty. I ordered one myself for fabric I've been collecting.

Well, at least you are finding things in your reorganization of your sewing room. I made me a sewing room out of one of my bedrooms after my daughter moved out, now I can't find any of my rulers. I just can't imagine what I've done with them. I finally found a little ironing board that I had lost too, but it was in my cluttered closet. The ironing board is made from a woodent TV tray, with padded top and ironing board cover on top (all stapled to the TV tray. It is so handy for ironing blocks, you can fold it up and put it away (somewhere where you can find it, ha ha)

I love the blues too! Have bought a bunch of different ones that coordinate but haven't decided what to make with them yet! I'm no help at all, am I?!

Sorry can't think of anything at the time but I wish you luck and I know someone on the board will be able to help you.

A french braid would be fabulous. They are actually easier than one would think.
