I have the Deb Tucker rapid fire template to make a hunters star and want to make a queen size . Does anyone have an idea on how much fabric I will need to buy to make it a 2 color quilt?? I think I will be making the 6 inch size blocks.

my queen size carpenters star took just over 7 yards if that might be of help

I don't know amounts exactly, but plan for extra for the color you are going to use as a border. This pattern makes striking quilts--be sure and show us your finished product.
I think the information that came with my ruler had suggestions as to yardage??? I'm not at home right now so can't go look, sorry.
