Has anyone evermade potholders and placemats with plaid fabrics? And also coasters?

I made some hotpads out of scraps of Christmas fabric and used the insulbright stuff, too. I used a plaid for the back and they look good!

When I think of Christmas quilts, the plaids always make me think of Santa's plaid shirt in a Christmas book I used to read to my kids :D:D:D Look at the plaid ribbons that are used at Christmas... I think plaids and Christmas go hand in hand!!!
