Need suggestions for a quilt for my sister
#1
I am hoping someone can give me some ideas for a quilt for me to make for my sister. She absolutly is the sweetest sister, and I want to make a quilt for her. She has been ill for many years and is facing some other obsticles.
She loves Little House on the Prairie and that whole time frame. So, I know I would like to make her something that would have been made at that time. I was considering a scrap quilt, but was not sure. If you have any ideas, I would love to hear them.
Thank you so much,
Jo Ann

Little house on the Prairie took place the end of the 1800s (correct me if I'm wrong.) so some of the 1800 repros would look fabulous in a simple churn dash or shoo fly both patterns popular during that time. Trip around the world, or nine patch are also easy simple patterns that a busy house wife on the prairie would have sewn.

Diff Sue...or even on this site the BOM for Houses...Each block could be done in the Prairie Theme. Or just pick one hse and do it in diff scene's...I did a farm scene that I posted last night under "free form applique quilt" That's a bit of prairie....easy and fast
