I recently made several quilts for a local shelter's annual baby shower using fleese and flannel. You know, the quick easy ones where you cut a square of each the same size, sew a quick 'X' through each block and then piece them together and rag the seams. Well, I over bought supplies and now have a fair amount of fleece and flannel left over. Have moved on to other projects. These excess supplies take up too much space. Any one out there in the Omaha area make charity quilts who could use the stuff? Any other suggestions?

Check with your local quilt shop as they often know who is making charity quilts or which guilds would take them for their community service projects.

Check to see if you have Project Linus chapter in your area and they would gladly take your excess to make blankets. You can go to projectlinus.org, click on your state and scroll down to see if there is one in Omaha.

You could also list what you don't need in the donations/PIF area of this board. You probably will get a lot of responses from people there. You could ask they pay shipping costs for the items.

Course all of the above suggestions are great too!!!!!
