The neat thing about color is it makes the person happy who is receiving it. If your dughter likes purple then for sure she is going to like it the way you hav sewed already. If you were making it for someone you were unsure about them maybe, verigated or gray so it would not show as much... lol This is a call for the you :) No matter what you do your daughter will always love it because Mom made it in love. ((hugs)) :)

I used variegated thread and quilted in the ditch. Let the colors do their work. Maybe one line of decorative, viney thing down the middle. I'm a fan of stitch in the ditch on any kind of pattern like this. The colors are so gorgeous I want to show them off. If necessary, I'll machine tie along the center of a color.
