So, now she not only has a sharp needle in her machine, but she's got a sharp blade! Sheesh! Does she want one of us to go and remind her, look over her shoulder to make sure she does this ? lol

 At school when students are at the computer, I'm always saying "save now if you haven't" since our school computers can goof up and cause them to lose information.

So, once a month the admin should post a notice
"Have you changed your needle this month?
How's your rotary blade working?"

I was told, as a rough guide, to always start a new project with a new needle. I'm shocking at leaving the blade too long though, till you end up just about swinging on the end of it to make it cut!

Someone must have once told me to start every DECADE with a new needle, !

I have just ordered some quilting needles and I WILL be better at changing them in future, but I think every PROJECT is a bit ambitious!

You only had to change them every decade back when they were hand chiseled out of bone dude! lol

Oh... and you had to go and spear the mammoth first! ;-)

I use a universal needle to piece and a quilting needle to do the machine quilting. Don't know when the last time was that I changed my rotary blade though.
