Red face Needles for Tl2010

I have purchased a TL 2010 from a friends husband. My friend passed away a month or so ago. I am enjoying the TL 2010 a lot. Which needles do you prefer to use in your machine if you have one. Organ or Schmetz. I understand they both work. Is there an advantage to using either of these needles. Do other needles fit this machine? Hopefully, some of you can respond. I love Quiltboard.

I've used both and now am using Superior titanium as recommended by Angela Walters. They are her new favorite needle so good enough for me.

I'll be interested to hear the responses. I have a 2200 QVP which I believe is the same machine rebadged and repackaged. I have one pack of needles I got with the machine and I'm not sure if I need to buy more of them or if I can use some that I have on hand.

I have the tl2010 and it is the least “demanding” of everything....needles, thread, etc....it’s like the energizer bunny....whatever i’ve used on it, it works fine.....it just keeps going.....I use superior titanium needles.....watch for their sales.......the lighting is where it lacks. I added a strip of led’s under the neck to fix that.

So far I've used only the Organ needles and they work great in this machine. But I haven't had it that long. I'm sure there are others that work just as well.

I use Schmetz 90/14 quilting needles that I buy bulk on Amazon, I've also used universal 90/14 with great success. She's not picky, she seems to be fine with whatever thread or needles I use.

I have used both. I buy whatever I can get the best deal on in bulk. I buy 100 needles at a time, have one size for general sewingpiecing another for quilting

Welcome to the Juki club! I hope you enjoy your machine as much as I do As for needles, I’ve used a variety of Schmetz needles with no problems. Plan to try the Superior Titanium next.

Enjoy your Juki!

Enjoy your Juki! The needle threader on mine seems to work best with Organ 11 through 14 needles, but like others have said, she sews with a much wider variety of needles.

Very sorry for the loss of your friend.

I use Schmetz... You are going to love that machine! Just be sure to clean the lint out of the bobbin area and feed dogs, and it will stitch like a dream! I find my tension starts to go wonky if I let the lint build up down below
