How about piecing them together and use them in the backing. No sense wasting them and they already match the quilt. I know a lot of people are saying to use up your fabric and incorporate it into the backing.

Awe no more give- away?? Bummer..
I'd piece them together and make a crumb quilt...
Cut then into 2x2 and make a 9 patch block
Cut them into 1.5 and make a postage quilt
Cut them into strips and make string blocks
If they were gifted to me, that's what I would do ...

If they are really odd shaped smaller scraps, you can sew them onto a 3" wide strip of foundation paper (I just use computer paper) like paper piecing and make lots of strips. These can then be used in a scrap quilt. Charisma posted pictures a little while ago with what a friend had done with her scraps. It looked so cool.

I just finished a quilt that had fabric leftover from the piecing. I really like how the quilt looks having used those same fabrics on the back. I have so many fabrics left over from other quilts, I am also using them in string quilts. Those are lots of fun, and the fabrics there remind me of the past quilts I have made.
