I have the Janome 8900 and love it. The extension table that comes with it along with the large harp space really will spoil you.

I have the Janome 6600 Professional and do all my own FMG and have quilted many quilts with no problems. You will love it and it is a step up from mine so even better. Enjoy!

Lynda, congratulation on being able to make the right decision for you. Test driving these machines are so important because when it comes down to the purchase, it is what YOU feel most comfortable quilting on!

Congratulations on your new sewing machine. I have had my Janome 4000 for several years and she is still getting a workout with quilts, dresses for our DGD, misc. quilts and other projects, so I am very pleased that I traded my Singer in for the Janome.
