I also have a Pfaff 7550 and it has been a good machine although it has more bells and whistles than I really use. I keep thinking I should get something of a workhorse machine and keep the Pfaff for the fancy stuff since that is what it is meant for

I have a Pfaff 7550 and 2144 with all the upgrades. I love Pfaff machines. They run so smoothly and the stitching is beautiful. My dealer has "Pfaff Club" once a month. We get together ina group and see the latest things and have show and tell. Your dealer will help you learn how to make the most of our machine. You can't go wrong with Pfaff.

I have a Pfaff 1471, which I think is their first computer machine. My husband bought it used for me about 16 years ago and I absolutely LOVE it! I do all my piecing and small project FMQ on it and I will be so sad when it quits working. I have a Pfaff Grand Quilter that I FMQ large items on. I bought it with a Next Generation quilt frame but we moved shortly after I bought it and now I don't have room for it. Will be selling the frame.

I have 2 Pfaffs - one over 25 years old - and a 2170 - and I love them. You did get a good deal price -wise, too. The walking foot is the BEST thing ever!!

I have a very light-weight basic Pfaff that I bought about 25 years ago; several years later when I went to the same dealer to upgrade, he was no longer selling Pfaff. I am now the owner of 3 Janome machines, but the little Pfaff still gets used sometimes. Although I like my Janomes, I would prefer Pfaff, but am not driving through heavy metro Atlanta traffic to a Pfaff dealer.

You will enjoy the Janome 6600. Don't forget to join the yahoo group...it is Janome 6500. This machine is incredible. You will use the automatic thread cutter for your piecing and the built in accufeed system....no more bulky walking foot!
Congratulations!

I have had Pfaff's for the last 10 years, many many models. I love them and wouldn't have anything else!
