Default New Machine - Very Excited...

I have just taken posession of a new-to-me Husqvarna Freesia 425. OHHHHHH SO EXCITED!!!!

And the best part is that I paid £70 sterling for it (about 110 USD) which I thought was a fairly good price.

It is sitting on my dining table with my Bernina 930 (for which I paid £100 sterling last year - about 160 USD).

I have been playing with it all morning, and I am a very VERY happy bunny.

I think I did well on price, and on quality - both machines are perfect, and have had very little use.

Whatdya think?

Thank you for your kind comments. I am really pleased! I teach a lot of workshops and find that my old Bernie is getting a bit heavy to lug around to classes. Hopefully my new Viking (nicknamed Helga by the kids), will be less of a strain.

Ohhh yes! I am having lots of fun getting to grips with the new one!

I feel very lucky that I have been able to pick up two exceptional machines at a very good price.

Now all I need is somewhere to put them! As you can see from the photos, the dining table is not really big enough for two machines, my son's laptop, my daughters Christmas crafts, and any other quilting work ...
