Default New (to me) quilt artist

This guy ( Ben Venom ) was featured in the Atlanta Journal and Constitution Friday. He's an artist who uses quilts as a background for his art. I googled him and found some interesting quilts in his gallery ( some also very explicit). Thought his use of old jeans different from what I've done. His use of the heavy metal T-shirts is very interesting and gave me some ideas for future projects.

Before I checked him out the first time (several months ago), I thought, "with a name like Venom, his stuff *has* to be 'out there'......and I wasn't disappointed, LOL!

I think some of his things would be great inspiration for teenagers' quilts. They couldn't say it was an "old lady quilt"!
