I went to the Amish Auction this weekend, not really expecting to find anything that I had to have...
I actually did find 4 featherweights, but they were a little to expensive for my finances right now...so I just kept looking. Almost didn't see her, I was following the smell of the kettlecorn...sitting in a cabinet with the price tag of $50.00 dangling from the thread holder...looked her over, there was no manual or any kind of attachements...so I said to myself, "when you come back this way, if she's still there...you can take her."
I got through two more rows before I went back and bought her. :)
Here she is...Singer Model 99, born in Elizabethport, New Jersey, May 22, 1929....I'm leaning towards naming her Snooki...but that's up for debate... :)

That's a really nice machine. You did well. I'm just curious, how much were they asking for the FW's? Just seems differen't parts of country, the price reallt varies.

Beautiful machine! Too dignified for "Snooki" IMO. Great find.
