Default I'm not so scared anymore!

I just finished 2 baby quilts, both the same. I pieced them on my Singer 301A, but quilted them on my newer Kenmore. What I'm not scared of anymore:
  • using my Singer 301A - these are the first projects that I sewed on it - and yes, it does a beautiful straight stitch
  • free motion quilting! I normally go for stitch in the ditch, or cross hatching, or a bit of stippling over a small area, like in a cosmetic bag. But this time, after watching tutorials on Craftsy with Ann Petersen and Leah Day, figured I needed to take the plunge and try SOMEtime, and why not now?
This is a picture of the 2nd quilt I finished - it's a little nicer than the first quilt, but the first quilt was not too bad. I've got a lot to learn still, but at least I'm not so scared to try!

VERY NICE!!! I have found sometimes a person can work themselves into a tizzy over thinking something instead of just doing it. Love your feathers!!

I'm with you, Ellietow, I just FMQ a wall hanging. What could go wrong with a wall hanging, right? I did it and had fun actually! Tho, I didn't try feathers.Yours do look great! Mine turned out pretty decent for my first attempt.
