Default Nice Quilt shop in St. Pete, Florida?

I'm in St Pete now for a mini vacay . I have googled LQS in the area but am always more find of word-of-mouth recommendations from ppl on this board. You tend to know which shops are friendly and which aren't. I'm willing to travel 20 miles.

Try Rainbow's End in Dunedin. It's a large shop, lots of fabric and notions.

Enjoy your trip!

At least by using Google, you know where they are, how the best way to get there and if they are still open. Have fun.

Check out the County or Country Register online. I always forget what it is. It has a map with lots of quilt shops listed.
There are a good many in that area around Tampa.

Well, that didn't pan out schedule-wise. I had two hours on my own with the car, then had to pick up my daughter from work .The shops were 40 minutes away. That's just not worth it. Next time...

I have to second the Rainbow's End shop. My daughter lives in St. Pete and I drive to Dunedin every time I visit her....it is so worth it!!

You need to go to Country Quilts and Bears in Clearwater.
