A few days ago someone posted a post about her quilt top she was making from her scrap bag. I thought I bookmarked it but guess I didn't . Can someone help me out? I tried the search feature but no luck

although it wasn't me, I am currently piecing a string quilt from my scraps. Using my featherweight. Lights on one side, darks on the other - search String quilts (Ditter has a great tutorial, btw). I like sitting down to it as a break from my more serious project.

I'm in ther process of making a 9 patch quilt from 2.5" squares that I had cut from my scraps as I finished each quilt. So far it's interesting. Have a ways to go yet. But I am running out of the 2.5" sqs. smile. AND it is very scrappy.

was it the one that the lady had made some 80 blocks already and not made a dent in her scrap bin?

From what I can remember it wasn't in blocks yet and the pieces were every which way. I think she said something to the fact that what colors won't normally work well with others this way it works. It was random sizes sewn together.
