Ohhh, I totally get how you feel.!! I broke my left wrist on Valentines Day (the most expensive date my DH has ever taken me on). No piecing, no quilting on the LA, no NOTHING! for 4 months. It was three weeks before I finally figured out a way to put my bra on by myself. (TMI!) I'm also an accountant. Try doing bookkeeping one handed. I couldn't even open envelopes, staple papers, punch holes, or tie down files. Hopefully this will be a very short term problem!!

Good new. DH did most of the cooking - I couldn't lift pans, strain noodles, etc. And I didn't (couldn't) run the 4-wheeler to go check cow for calving problems. THAT I didn't miss!

So sorry to hear about your hand. Sometimes our dog and cat kids forget we are in charge. Oh, who am I kidding. My cats and dog run my house. LOL. Hope you feel better soon.

Thanks for all the kind thoughts. It is stiff, but the swelling is going down. Miss the chat room.

Our Rottie died last year. The dog we have now was already a year old when we got him.

Tough to type with one hand. Will go into it later on.
