Lois you might find a way to volunteer and help some young person learn to sew. I know it wouldn't be your grandchild but might fill a missing place for you.

How wonderful of you to do that. She will cherish that memory forever. She will probably take after you with your sewing skills. Is there a way you could record some of the skills you use to make a quilt and she could either listen to it or watch the video?

So good of you to pass on the Elna, she will love it and hopefully take up quilting. We always need more quilters.
