Today was such a great day! My granddaughter spent the day with me and we made doll clothes all afternoon! We did it the old fashioned way (without patterns) like my sister and grandmother used to do for me. Sure brought back good memories, and was such a fun and easy way to sew. We made 10 pieces in one afternoon. I'm pooped but happy.

My Mom made me the most fantastic doll dresses when I was little. I still have them and the dolls too. Both of my daughters played with them. Even still have the diaper bag she made and all the tiny cloth diapers with the tiny safty pins. I can remember playing with them in the yard under our big shady maple tree. Thanks for the trip down memory lane. :-)

That does sound like a great day, one your grandaughter will remember for a long time! You never know what you've passed on and where she will take it.

What a wonderful day. My sis and I used to make clothes for our babies and barbies. What fun times.
