Yeehaw!!!! Quilt retreat is almost here! I went for the first time last year and had a blast! The lodge owners gave away a prize for the first time last year and I won! A free stay (with the best food) for this year!

We leave on Thursday, October 6 and take 8 hours for a 4 hour trip. We stop at 3 quilt shops and for lunch....figure about an hour each! We stay at the best place in the middle of nowhere (no distractions) and they cook the best food-a lot right out of the garden! We leave Sunday about noon.

It is held at the Eagle's Nest Lodge just outside of Medora...awesome scenery!

I am already packed! I have sewing machine, all the essentials (plus extras for others), bottle of wine, the makings for a lot of iced tea and cappucino, snacks and I already cut out a few weekend tops!

Hmmmm.....wonder if they would mind me showing up a few weeks early.....

I'm jealous. Still want to go on one. Has to be put on my bucket list along with a quilt cruise. I'm thinking in a few years
