I also had a GREAT TIME today at the Paducah Ky show but I didn't get to meet Eleanor Burns, maybe tomorrow.
There were so many Beautiful quilts there it was something else. But YOU HAVE TO GET A STRAWBERRY SHORTCAKE SUNDAE FROM THE BOYSCOUTS. MMMMMM MMMMMM GOOOOOOOD.

You live close enough to Eleanor Burn's store in San Marcos to make the occasional shop hop over there!
Shrabar - glad to hear you had a good time. I've been twice but it's been years since the last time. Just love looking at the new gadgets.

I met and chatted with Alex Anderson and Ricky Tims, and Martie Mitchel, John Flyn, and Sharon Shambler at the show, got some lovely things, and a new face plate for my 221, a nice scroll one, a pannel wall quilt kit, some more inks and some more fabric paints, some Martie Mitchel templets, and a pattern I have looking for for 5 years, having a GREAT time. going to lecture this afternoon with Alex Anderson, on Fabric A to Z, Sat. morn a painter;s approach to quilt design with Velda Newman. My 2 sisters are here from Ga. and having a good time with them too.
