Check Missouri Quilt Co. and also on Youtube, or maybe ebay. I have several but my patterns are not in order and I would have to go thru several baskets. If you do not find it, send me a private message. I am busy until Tuesday. Am doing the Merry Mayham Mystery quilt on Monday.

Are you talking about Tumbling Blocks? I guess it's going to be based on how big your blocks are, is there a border, how many borders, how big are the borders.... You can do whatever as long as you can do the math.

This is what started me on my hunt for a pattern. I know I'm crazy but the blocks are easy to sew.

There is an old book out there by Sara Nephew on tumbling blocks without "Y" seams it is excellent I took her class on it in the 1980's so I am sure the book is out of print but you know you might be able to find it on ebay I do have it somewhere but I think you could find out by doing a search on quilting books by Sara Nephew iy really has an excellent method for tumbling blocks.

I did one (by hand) via English Paper Piecing. I just checked my templates and the individual pieces were 2.5" finished. If I remember correctly, I just cut 3" strips and then cut the individual pieces using the 60 degree line on my ruler. A bit of straightening along the way but it was pretty easy cutting all in all.

When I'm calculating yardage for something like this, I simply figure out total square inches for the quilt and go from there. If you're only using 3 fabrics (as I did in the one I made) it would be fairly easy to figure out - get your total square inches for the quilt and divide by 3 for the total number of yards/fabric that you need. I always buy a bit extra for safety's sake AFTER I have the math-whiz DH check my numbers!
