Default Obw -

I wasn't really happy with this quilt - I think my fabric choice for this project was just way too busy for a One Block Wonder. so I decided to add some cubes to brighten it up - hence the name. Not my favorite quilt, but I like it a little better now. Really like the cubes, will probably experiment more with these sometime down the road.

Guess what? I liked the subtlety of it without the cubes!

Is that a Sassaman print? It's great in the OBW.
And those cubes look like they're floating - very 3D-ish with the values you choose.
They definitely added a lot of WOW factor to the quilt.

No I don't believe it is a Sassaman print, though it does remind me a lot of her work. I picked this up at JoAnn's. Love those 50% off coupons.

It's a neat effect with the blocks and does reduce the business.

I think a whole quilt of the cubes would be awesome!
