I had a similar experience when I walked out of the dealership with my brand new DreamWeaver last weekend. It's going to take a while to learn all it can do. Congrats and enjoy making a new friend.

"Piecin' a quilt's like livin' a life...The Lord sends us the pieces, but we can cut 'em out and put 'em together pretty much to suit ourselves, and there's a heap more in the cuttin' and the sewin' than there is in the caliker...I've had a heap of comfort all my life making quilts, and now in my old age I wouldn't take a fortune for them." I got mine just 2 months ago. With the holidays haven't taken any classes yet, but from what I've done on my own it performs very nicely. I'm hoping to get to classes next month, I guess I should call soon about that. The good thing is the dealer says classes with them are free for as many times as I need to take them. Seeing all that the machine comes with is a little intimidating I just need to take really good notes and then try it myself.
    Good luck and have fun.
BTW when I got mine we were "just looking".

It is an awesome machine. I have had my Ellisimo for nearly 3 years and I am still discovering new things about her. I owned 4 Berninas and switched to Babylock. It is the best machine I have ever owned. I bought a Tiara a month ago and I am enjoying her as well. Emily

Got the Ellisimo for Christmas - love it. Have the Ellegante (trying to sell it) so am familiar with quite a bit, but so much yet to learn.....fun, fun, fun.

You will love your new machine to death. Babylock and Brother are the most user friendly machines on the market. I have two of them and love them both. Be sure to take the free lessons that come with the machine. Cograts!
