Someone posted a link about how to sharpen rotary cutting blades with foil and someone in that conversation mentioned not wanting to try that with their Ginger scissors (and that you could send them to Ginger directly to get them sharpened).

Well, I did a bit of hunting and found this link on the Ginger site about how to send them to them, what they do, the cost, etc. Here you go:

http://gingher.com/pages/sharpening-...air-service/4/

PLEASE NOTE: I did click on the contact tab on that site and emailed them directly to ask a question. HERE IS THE ODD THING (to me it is odd anyways), after sending the email to the gingerinfo email address listed I got a reply back saying "Thank you for contacting Fiskars...". It is signed "Fiskars America & Ginger". I didn't know that these were the same company. Did anyone else?

I do recommend sending the Gingers to the company to resharpen. A local sharpener messed mine up when thet resharpened them. The first 1/8" no longer cuts and it is annoying. So I will send them directly.

I have a scissors sharpening tool but like the sandpaper best. You just cut slits in the sandpaper and it sharpens the scissors that fast.

Ginger does a wonderful job of sharpening your scissors unless your teenage son uses them to cut wire. They then turn in to paper cutters! Ginger cannot sharpen that nick away.

I had dropped my expensive Gingher scissors on the concrete floor and sprung them. I sent them back to Gingher, they fixed them and sharpened them. It was several years ago, but I think all I paid was my shipping. They came back perfect!
