The Featherweight is a small very portable machine outfitted in a carry case. The machine weighs only about 11 lbs and with the case and attachments and foot pedal its about 14 lbs. The machines were manufactured by Singer between 1933 and the mid 1960's. They are simple to operate, hardly ever wear out if the owner will just oil and lubricate occasionally and were precision made. The make a great straight stitch and are just perfect to take when you want to go to a class etc. Plus they are just so darn cute!
