Our friends have an outside door with a cat door from their pool area which is leads into a laundry area and then a bathroom. My friend heard a noise and sees a squirrel sitting on her dryer so the slams the adjoining door. Calls us in a panic as now there is havoc going on as the little bugger is trapped. Her son got there 1st and just walked outside and opened the door to the pool and the squirrel ran out...our friend, bless her heart said why didn't I think of that? We all laughed!!

I love this story!! Only a quilter could be so funny!! Thanks for sharing.

If you still have a problem get a live trap and bait it with peanut butter. Then you can relocate the little booger.

Of course he is sitting outside the closed door! He wants more crackers! LOL! You have made a friend for life you know. Better stock up on the Triscuits! Or even better, peanuts! We have a chipmunk living under our shed. When the ear of corn runs out, or I the corn and sunflower sees I put on the deck run out, he/she sits on the deck railing and STARES in! It's so funny! I can feel the vibes now....GIVE MORE FOOD! GIVE MORE FOOD! Glad it all turned out well for you, though.

OMG that happened in my house! Somehow one got in the garage, and my then- 3 year old opened the basement door to see the "pet" chipmunk. I was wearing shorts, and the dang thing shot up the stairs and in between my legs with its long tail rubbing up my legs. We closed everything off, opened up the front door, and I stood on a chair yellingand pointing "There it is! There it is!" while my husband chased it with a broom. An aquantance who has since become a very close friend just happened to be walking up our sidewalk and thought we were nuts. After we finally got it out, it sat on the front porch and just stared at the door as if to say "Now what was all THAT about?" He stayed on that porch for a couple hours.
