I know we talk about our fabric stash how big it is, organizing it etc but does anyone else also have a problem collecting patterns? I keep seeing patterns I like and buying them or saving them but never use them

Funny you should mention this topic.
I almost never buy patterns but have bought 3 in the last month!
The quilts were made by people on the board and I just had to have the patterns !
But normally I don't. Hope I'm not starting a new obsession hahah

There is only so much time...and way too many patterns to be be able to do them all.

I've bought a few patterns early on, that I will never use. I now only buy what I will use right away, and only if I'm to lazy to figure it out myself. Thinking about listing the unused patterns in the classified section soon ;-)

It's funny how we change and grow.

I have been collecting these as well...
I love to look through them almost as much as my fabric :D:D:D

That's funny because when I decide to make a new quilt I nearly always look for a new pattern. I don't look at the ones I already have or the ones I have saved in a file in the computer. Obviously I once like them enough to buy them or save them but they are never good enough for the new fabric I am buying.

I have more than a few patterns. I keep buying them too. However I have enough fabric to make each of my patterns a dozen times.

I started buying patterns but then I discovered that I don't like to follow a pattern. I just use the general idea of a pattern then do what I want with it.
