I had a solution at one time to soak these quilt blocks and it would remove blue dots. (supposed to work) My computer crashed and I don't have the exact ingredients now. I remember you used buttermilk and lemon juice.

Thank you all for the ideas AND the encouragement to finish! Jacquie, I might have thought of using Oxy-clean, but would never have thought of efferdent tablets. It really makes sense. I'll try what I need to and will finish it. My 13-yr-old GD will appreciate it as she is already piecing some quilts. The embroidery is about three-fourths finished, so it will be a few months, at least. But I WILL post a pic when it is complete!
