See if you have a magnetic screwdriver. You can try it by trying to pick up another piece of metal. That happened to me. Look through a magnifying glass and see if you can see if the tip came off the needle. I have one of those. They're like 7-8 bucks at the hardware. Worth every penny and are telescopic.

Sad for you. Hope she gets fixed up soon, and with minimal financial damage...

I had that happen to me and I was sure I would have to take it in for repair. Then I tried dropping the feed dogs and then putting them back up and it worked fine after that. It may not work for you but it's worth a shot.

I know that sick feeling! I hit something with my Bernina 440 and knocked the timing into the next universe. Even the B repairman had to have 2 tries at getting it right. $100 but she is good as new.

Can you tip it upside down and gently shake. Try moving feed dogs to realise any part of needle left in. Try a Hoover see if it will suck out.

Sadly ladies, I've tried all those things. The needle didn't break inside either.... Off to the clinic with my Baby it is. MK

Feel for you - I think I've knocked the timing out on mine with a needle jamb - can't afford a fix right now. Luckily, we have back - ups.
