OMG I broke my sewing machine
I had placed a pin parallel to the stitching line and out side the path of the pressure foot but the tip went down into and jammed the feet dogs. I removed it with a pair of pliers but now the dogs do not have any forward motion. I am so sick. I think this is worse than dinging the car. I DO have a backup machine, a Juki, but this Janome6260 has been my work horse for 10 years. It's off to the repair shop tomorrow for an estimate.
I don't think I'll sleep tonight. My stomach hurts.

Oh dear ... and when you are under a time crunch.
Be sure to tell them your woes and hopefully it can expedited ... perhaps even while you are there. Maybe they would get it going for you and then you can return it for a complete going over while you are on holidays.
