I have wondered about this product for a while and am debating buying it. Does anyone have it and is it worth it? I'm thinking it might not be big enough. (It is a teflon sheet that helps the quilt slide when free motioning~ http://www.freemotionslider.com/ )

I bought this item but I haven't had a chance to use it yet. I'll be curious to read any answers to this one!

I have one, used it before I got my table set up. Worked okay, but found that sometimes the tape pulled loose when pushing and pulling quilt through.

Don't know where the topic is but somebody posted on here that Menard's had baking sheets on sale..... they said they use these like the supreme slider and A LOT cheaper......

I finally gave up on mine. It didn't make much difference and I have put wax on my extension table for BETTER slide. I found the pink, supposedly self-stick backing doesn't work so I have to tape it anyway and it comes off. I've sewn through it a few times, leaving a big up-turning hole. And you can't change your bobbin without taking it off. Overated, IMHO

I have Sewslip, same thing. Wouldnt be without it, it has made so much difference with my fmq. And it doesnt move at all. I just clean it end of each session under cold running water.

I love mine. It makes the FMQ much easier for me. Thanks for the tip from Katrine on how to clean it.

I'm not big on gadgets and gizmos, generally, but I do like the supreme slider. I find it makes free motion quilting with a flannel backing much easier. And if you run it under water to get the lint off, the pink side will stick very nicely.

Instead of spending so much for a slider, buy the teflon baking sheets. Cut a hole for the needle and you have the same thing and I am not sure they are no slippery-er? They are brown instead of white but you don't need to see through them anyway. I use three to completely cover the main part of my sewing cabinet and it is absolutely great when FMQ.

I love mine...sadly today I did not tape it down enogh and got it stuck in my needle...so I finished the quilt without it. It was so much harder harder...I hate the thought of spending another 20 plus dollars again...but it is worth it.
