They are from the book "One Block Wonders" by Maxine Rosenthal. I highly recommend it. There is only one block, and the way you cut your fabric is what makes all the different designs. But it is only one size and shape in the whole quilt, over and over. Basically you layer 6 identical pieces of fabric on top of each other and cut strips, which you then subcut into equilateral triangles. The triangles from each set of 6 will thus be identical. When you sew the triangles into a hexagon, it makes a kaleidoscope pattern. The whole quilt is composed of those hexagons--thus "One Block". The "Wonder" part is how they are all so different. K3n and Katrine are the OBW queens, or "The K-Queens" as I call them!
