I did that with a hand towel for a gift one time when I was first learning the ways of machine embroidery.
I was able take part of the folded over apart and use it for my self,LOL

I've done that and while the embroidery machine is chugging along, a piece of the fabric would sometimes mysteriously creep over the embroidery area and become part of the design - plucked apart more designs than I want to admit.

I don't embroider but I've made similar mistakes sewing before. If we never made mistakes how would be improve our crafts.

I don't embroidery but I can certainly relate in sewing. It seems I do it the hard way TOO much. You would think "better with age", but not me. :oops: :oops: :oops:
