Personally (remembber color is personal}I like your color choices and I qould do an inner border of gold and your dark as an outer border. That is a gorgeous panel and I am sorry I didn't get it. Keep going. Trust your eye.

I would use the gold and maybe even add a nice red with it also. maybe just a thin one.
