Center interest block quilt suggestions
I am looking for ideas for quilts with a large center interest block, I think they are called Medallion quilt patterns, I have made the Lone Star, and Star Burst a couple of dozen times each so am looking for something different. Not paper piecing patterns though. Adaptable to queen size. Thank you for your help.

There are a few lovely Carpenter's Star quilts on this forum, maybe one of those ?
Or maybe one with a panel in the middle, like some from the album here? https://www.quiltingboard.com/member...bums18180.html

Maybe this one? I don't think it is paper-pieced but if it is there might be a work-a-round:

Tree of Life makes a great center for a medallion quilt. So does a Mariner’s Compass, in all of its variations. You can use any block you like, and even size one up if you need to.

I always thought the "God's Eye" block from Quilter's cache would make an interesting medallion quilt. It makes a 20" block so the size is definitely there

Kim diehl has some beautiful patterns that have medallions combining applique and piecing. I love late bloomers and farm girl finery. http://www.materialrewards.com/Kim-D...l%20finery.pdf
