Default Out & About quilt by McKenna Ryan

I am on block 5 of this beauitiful quilt and am wondering how to finish it.Has anyone else made it ? How did you finish it? If making into a quilt rather than making each block a wallhanging did you sash between each block? Sew each block together without sashing or borders? Since it is kind of like looking out a window pane should I sash with fabric that looks like wood? Suggestions welcome and thank you. Sue

My friend is doing the bottom three and was putting 5 inches of fabric between each panel. Did not like it and now will be sewing all three together. How are you putting your quilt together?? Are you using stripes between each panel? I am sorry but I do not have a suggestion on quilting it but will be watching for suggestions.

I have this one and will be starting it soon. It was my plan to put a 2 inch strip inbetween the blocks. Just enough to break it up, but not enough to make it too obvious. Will you be doing her wind in the whiskers too?
