Sometimes when I have my Lizzie all ready to go, every thing looks good, all lights on, etc. With the needle in the down position I push start and IT WON'T GO! This is just sometimes and it is frustrating me. My dealer is thinking a new mother board (is that the term?) If you have had this happen please tell me what the solution was. Thanks, Lisa

You have a 5 year warranty on them so the board shouldn't cost anything. When it does start does it go real fast and then settle down to a normal sound? If it does, its the board. Sometimes the encoders, if you have Lizzie stitch, will cause this. Seems like the encoders go bad easily.

My Lizzie acts like that at times. My DH said to clean the encoders underneath. The slightest bit of dust or thread can make them misbehave.
